August 14 is the day of remembrance of the death of the defender of Ukraine Dmitry Larin (12.12.1993 – 08.14.2025). A native of Novogrodovka, Dmitry Larin received his education at the Selydiv Mining College and worked as a prospector at the Pokrovska mine. In peaceful life, he was a reliable support for his family — a caring husband and a loving father. In March 2025, having created safe conditions for his family, Dmitry consciously joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his native land. He worthily performed his military duty, loyally defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state. On August 14, 2025, while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Muravka in the Donetsk region, a 31-year-old defender was killed as a result of enemy artillery fire.
