November 24 is the day of remembrance of the death of the defender of Ukraine Viktor Drozdov (17.12.1981 — 24.11.2023). Viktor Drozdov was born in the city of Novogrodivka and before joining the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he conscientiously worked at the mine "Yuvileyna" of the State Economic Complex "Pavlogradugol". The courageous soldier-miner was a caring son and father who consciously stood up for the defense of his native land and the sovereignty of Ukraine. While serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the defender demonstrated high resilience, loyalty to the military oath and selflessness in the fight for the freedom of our state. Until his last breath, he remained loyal to the Ukrainian people, fulfilling the most difficult tasks of repelling and deterring Russian aggression. On November 24, 2023, while performing a combat mission to defend his native Donetsk region in the Avdiivka direction, Viktor Drozdov heroically died.
