Mykola Buryak (2011 -2024)

Mykola Buryak studied in the seventh grade of Novogrodovsky ZZSO No. 7. For educators and the school family, Mykola was remembered as an extremely bright, purposeful, persistent and friendly child. He sincerely rejoiced at every day, had many childhood dreams and was just beginning to make his own plans for the future.

The life of a 12-year-old boy was tragically and mercilessly cut short on June 3, 2024.

Around noon, Russian troops struck the private sector of the village of Mykhailivka with the Smerch multiple launch rocket system. At that moment, Mykola and his mother were working in the garden near their own house. An enemy shell hit nearby - the boy died on the spot from severe injuries received, his mother was injured.

On the same day, an enemy air bomb took the life of another resident of the village of Mykhailivka, 84-year-old Nadiya Kharchenko.

The loss of an innocent child is an unhealed wound for the Novogrodov community. The bright memory of Mykola Buryak will forever live in the hearts of his relatives, teachers, friends, and everyone who cherishes the memory of the innocent victims of this war.
