History
In the 20th century, as a result of historical and socio-political transformations, the settlement was renamed Dolynivka. The name reflects the features of the local relief - the location in a cozy steppe valley. As a result of the administrative-territorial reform and decentralization in Ukraine, the village of Dolynivka officially became part of the Novogrodivska urban territorial community of Pokrovsky district of Donetsk region on June 12, 2020 in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 721-r.
